Vehicle purchase

Dealing with Kyle made our car shopping experience fun and easy. He asked us what we wanted and he delivered, from there he found us the perfect crossover. He went above and beyond any of our expectations. We are extremely happy with our new purchase. We highly recommend Kyle and the crew at North Island Nissan to anyone.

Shady sales practice

Saw a car and was helped by a sales person named Kyle, who lied to my face on two occasions about the car. Said the car was in a small accident but the repairs were made and there is no damage (car had large dent near the back with paint missing) and that the quote he gave me was for the whole 'off the lot price', but it actually included lot fees which are undisclosed, so no idea how much they will be. He also tried to say that there is a 'special sale on' just for you the next couple of days in order to pressure me to buy quicker. Said there was a big discount and promotion, but the hidden fees were still there, and likely more than made up for the 'special sale'. Very shady sales tactics, and will not be getting my business.

Hi Stephen, this is Colton, the assistant sales manager that you met with at the end of your visit yesterday. I am sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with us yesterday, it seemed by the end of the visit that everything went well! I apologize about the misunderstanding with the accident. When a claim shows up as $0 on the Car Fax report, it means the claim was started and not followed through with. Whether it was not fixed, or the customer paid out of pocket for the repair. There is no way for us to know if the claim on the Car Fax report was for the dent that you saw on the vehicle, or for another claim that may have happened. The important thing is that you did see the dent AND the claim on the car fax report before we had moved ahead with any paperwork. As for the pricing, I do have a copy of the written price and finance options that we gave you to take home. The Price of the vehicle is displayed showing $25,176 + documentation and taxes. The documentation amount is listed on the same page below. The all-in out the door pricing was not actually written down, but it sounds like it was shown to you which is good. We are having a 3 day private sale this weekend. A mailer and phone calls were made to 500 customers in our database, and for any customers we speak to ourselves we are offering the deal to as well. For that sale you were offered an additional $500 discount as well as a 2 year oil change plan. Yes, this is in the hopes that we sell more cars because of it. This is in addition to the two draws we have happening at the end of the month for $5,000 cash, and a $500 fuel card that there is no purchase necessary for. If you do not have the copy of paperwork that we went over with you in person, I would be happy to make you a copy that lists everything that you were wanting to have on the paperwork. I apologize for your experience not being exceptional as we always strive to have great customer service with clear and transparent pricing. If there is any more we can do please let me know!

Good sales experience

Had a good sales experience, unfortunately thats not realy whats important. What is important is the follow up, the service, the taking care of your customers after taking their money. Do not buy a nissan because they DO NOT stand behind their warranty. The service department has not been able to fix one single thing that has gone wrong with our vehicle. Also i paid $3500 for extended warranty.. What a waste of money as now we are nearing the end of our warranty (runs out at 140000km) and these guys still cant fix problems we have been having since 8000km. Also they charge for misdiagnosis and unsucessful diagnosis which is unheard of in this industry. I have tried talking to resolve many concerns and its like talking to a wall. Noone is willing to budge or be bothered to help at all. Now we are stuck with a $60,000 anchor.
