car purchase-didn't happen
In July, I was called 4 times to come in to look at upgrading my Equinox. I made an appointment with John P. I waited over an hour to meet with John and never got in to see him. I question why I would bother to set up an appointment if it was not going to be kept. I was shown a vehicle that seriously interested me.
John quoted me the sticker price in a follow up text. The math on the pricing made no sense on top of that. Basically, I would have been charged over 60k for a vehicle with a price of 40k... at 0% interest.
When I received a follow up call from Meagan, I expressed my complete displeasure. Her response was, " I'm sorry you didn't find the experience pleasant."
It's a good thing that the service department at Murray's is great under Scott Kelly, or I'd have nothing to do with Murray's. I sincerely doubt my next purchase will be there, however.

Recall
Twice now I've come in to Murray for my annual service and twice I've been told that I will be contacted - within a month - about having rust on my doors repaired, rust covered by a recall notice that I received at least a year and a half ago. I have never once received a call regarding the recall afterwards. This time, I also had the body shop look at rust developing on the tailgate below the rear window. Again: we'll look into it and call you back within a month. All the while I'm waiting, I have an open Autopac claim for body work on my vehicle that I'm hoping to get taken care of at the same time as having all this rust fixed, but I can't do that because I haven't heard from anyone. Again. I have yet to have a really positive experience at Murray's, and that includes the experience of buying two vehicles there.

Always positive experiance
