I called Winnipeg Honda to book an appointment at Crown Autobody. Crown Autobody are booking for inspection late in August (a month down the road) which didn't suit my needs, then they will order the parts and get me bring the car which means I have to drive a defected car for another 6-7 weeks at my own risk, where as I have a loss of use coverage under my policy which comes into effect only when they acquire the car.... The facility at Crown Autobody said there was no way they could accommodate me according to their new system and that there is no way to get the work done soon. Hence I called Winnipeg Honda again to advise if it is possible to take it to another Mpi certified body shop and they allowed me. The car will be done sooner than the other Crown Autobody inspection appointment. Grateful to my auto dealer Winnipeg Honda who gave me a sound advice that takes into consideration my situation and my needs.

It was a very odd experience where i was told to drive a car that was dangerous and unsafe.

I took my newly leased AWD CRV on December 3 and in less than a week by December 9, 2016 it slid into the curb on icy road conditions in the city. While it is supposed to be better equipped to protect the passengers, all the TPMS, VSA, Power Steering, Road Hill Side Assistance lights go off and it was scary to drive. I took it to the dealer the following Saturday December 10 for repair. They suggested that it is better to go through the insurance company since they didn't want me to pay out of my Pocket. I understand that. Yet, since the insurance didn't have any appointments sooner than 2 weeks down the road, I asked the dealer to inspect the car and tell me if it was safe to drive it or not. That way I could have had it towed to the insurance company and I could have gotten a loaner vehicle since i have a loss of use car on my insurance plan. Hence they inspected the car and told me that yes it is drivable so i drove it on the hwy... and I had to go on 40 km/h or less. It was a very very very scary experience very unstable with me having to drive on icy highway road. All what they did was reset the lights which came back before me even leaving their parking lot. I really made it clear that i was going to drive on Highways and that I needed a clear cut answer. The dealer told me that the car was drivable. I just had to be cautious. Yet it was very unsafe and very dangerous. A very very odd experience!!

It was a very good buying experience.

Everyone was very helpful. They had good product knowledge. We felt well looked after. Diane, Wade and Matt all played a very important part in helping us with the purchase and in understanding the features of the car.
