My husband and I went in to see the newest Santa Fe. The salesman, Sumit, was introduced to us and took us to see the model. We went on a trial drive to see all the options this beautiful car had to offer. Sumit also showed us all the other features this Santa Fe Ultimate possesses. What a car, and what a patient, knowledgeable salesman. We decided to buy the car and were given a very fair trade in price on our previous car. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Special kudos also to Jocelyn, financial Services Mgr., for all her help.
The replacement of the winter tires was fine. The problem I had with the rear hatch was not addressed properly I feel. I complained that the hatch did not stay closed unless I slammed it. The service dept said that they ran the vehicle over bumps and twists and turns and had no problem. I didn't either if I slammed it but if you just used normal closing pressure the hatch sometimes sprung open while driving. I was not in contact with the service person to explain the situation.
Staff made you feel that you were a valued customer.
In buying a new vehicle the initial offer, I felt was very fair, so there was no need for negotiations which I will not do when I go to a dealership. Either the offer is good from the start or I walk away. Staff made me feel like a valued customer and were very accommodating as we were from outside the city. We have not had the vehicle in for servicing yet so can not comment but the sales staff and people in finance were excellent to deal with.
