Check Gas Cap & Engine Light coming on for 2+ months at 1/2 tank or less
Both lights were on when dropped off at service dept. Was told it was not flagging anything besides a loose cap. Charged $100 with no solution. Although my mechanic had diagnosed (2 days prior) with a warranty covered problem. Lights still coming on consistently and no solution offered.
I came in for an early morning appointment that was supposed to be very quick so I was told I could wait for the work to be done. I waited an hour only to be told that they forgot to order the part in. They apologized and I was told that I would receive a call to re-schedule the appointment. It's been 4 days and I have yet to receive a call.
The oil change and regular maintenance was handled in a courteous and efficient manner. My appointment was booked and my vehicle was serviced while I waited and had a coffee. A very pleasant experience.
Service was as expected. Error was made when approached for vehicle specific needs. I could have influenced the decision on the wrong vehicle. I do not appreciate the push for additional service needs.
