The entire process of buying my car was very easy.

Love at First Sight... 2013 Traverse

We picked up our 2013 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT at the end of January 2016. This journey started several weeks prior after deciding that it was time to find a vehicle that was going to be the lone method of transportation for this family of 4. There were certain criteria that the vehicle needed to meet and after reading various reviews, looking at specifications and all the other good stuff, the list of potential vehicles was rather small. The Traverse was the first vehicle we looked at and were fortunate to be able to have a 24 hour test drive from a local dealer and within 5 minutes we knew it was going to be the vehicle for us. Unfortunately, new wasn't an option for us and the local used market was rather... lacking... so I expanded my search out from 50km to 100km and suddenly we had dozens more ads to search through. It was in those dozens of ads that one particular Traverse stood out. A silver 2013 Traverse stood tall in the introductory picture. I clicked the ad; Price? Check. Mileage? Check. Towing package? Check! Skyscape Sunroof? Check! The pictures that were taken and posted by OMS were excellent quality, detailed and hid nothing. So I decided to pick up the phone and have a chat. My first conversation was with Bonnie, who was very pleasant and was able to give me some good information regarding OMS as an out of town buyer ($250 gas card is a pretty good incentive to spend a little time on the road). She then got me in touch with Greg who was professional and knowledgeable of the products, gave me the details of the vehicle from options to car proof. He went over the condition of the vehicle and sent me a list of things that were to be replaced for the safety. I was confident in the vehicle from the information I received through the phone conversation and with the detailed pictures. I wasn't too keen on making the trip to Oshawa from Kitchener multiple times to test drive, sign papers, and then pick up the vehicle after licensing, etc. I asked Greg if the Traverse could be ready to go for the weekend and he got to work and kept me up to date as things happened with the safety and detailing. He got me in touch with Ornella to work on the financing and licensing over the phone and she took care of everything and got me a pretty good financing rate to boot. She was fantastic to chat with as we went over the 'exciting' paperwork. The weekend rolled around, the family hopped in the vehicle to be traded in and we hit the highway. As we pulled in to the parking lot, our new vehicle was glistening in the morning sun, freshly cleaned up and ready for our family's adventures - love at first sight. We were promptly met by Greg, who let us take the Traverse for a spin 'to make sure', before we got to business. The Traverse didn't disappoint. We got through the paperwork quickly, said our thank-you's and good-bye's and we were on our way. Almost 3 months later, and we are thrilled with our purchase - it was very much worth the drive. OMS has a top notch, professional staff to back up excellent product that is advertised honestly. They were a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be keeping them in mind when the time comes to purchase our next vehicle. The ONLY thing I can gripe about is the level detailing that was done to the interior of the vehicle. Finding old air fresheners from the previous owner under the front seat, dirt, debris and old food in various nooks and crannies by the shifter, cupholders and instrument panel left a very sour taste in my mouth. The job appeared very rushed. All in all though, the experience was very good. I would absolutely recommend shopping for a vehicle at OMS!

Waited 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment before the service guy floored my Camaro so the engine popped as he too it back for service.

I waited 40 mins past my scheduled appointment to service my car. The service guy floored my car at least 4,000 rpm to make the engine roar that loud and pop. Workers made excuses for the abusive treatment to my new Camaro. I'm not stupid and know you have to step hard to make the engine pop. Manager said the guy said sorry, but didn't say it to me and how often does this happen? I'm sure glad I waited and didn't take the shuttle home. If this is how my $62,000 car is care for I will go back to dodge.
