Cody has been with Murray's for four years, beginning in quick lube as well as attending the lot. His passion for cars - and his family history - led him to the sales team, where he's been working since May 2014. "Murray Chevrolet runs in my blood," he says; his father has worked in the parts department here for forty years, and it was his first job, too.
Before coming to Murray's, Cody was at the University of Manitoba and Red River College studying Business Administration, which he completed this past year. He was drawn to the automotive industry by his love of cars, and drives a Chevrolet Corvette.
Outside of work, Cody is a big sports fan. He is a Bomber season ticket holder and enjoys going to the Jets games. He likes to spend his summers on the golf course, or visiting family out in Kelowna. His favourite place that he has visited was Paris, when he spent two weeks there with friends touring the city.
The sales man cody that took us on the test drive was awesome not pushy at all 10/10. But I felt like the accounting man joe was to persistent. After saying I didn't want optional warranty he began to tell me the chances of getting the loan without it were Slim and just pushed it. After saying a didn't want it multiple times I just agreed so we could move on. Made me feel like reapplying with out the warranty was a wast of time.
Cody was very professional and personable when we bought our Chevy Cruz. We looked at several cars and he was very supportive and considerate if we were not happy with color or options. He kept trying and was very motivated to find us the perfect car with price and options to meet our needs.
The best experience I could have had purchasing a vehicle
Cody Wiebe is a great sales professional. He helped us out when my daughter purchased her new vehicle, and I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to help me with mine a few months later. He explained everything thoroughly, and understandable, in normal people's terms. Following through with all the paper trail, was comfortable, relaxed, but informative. Options explained with no pressure.
Delivery of my vehicle was seamless. All work Cody had said would be done prior to my taking possession, was, and exceeded my expectations.
Dealing with Murray was a great experience, like making new friends.
