Car was running perfect and is 10 years old only 91,000 km. Serviced regularly every year. A week ago the engine light came on as did the Trac light indicating off. Brought to dealer even though on that day both lights turned off. I was charged $1500 for a diagnostic of the oxygen indicator as I was told by dealer, it was a “known issue”. They refused to do any discount under recall even though it was a known issue. I asked and again was told by service desk that the manager doesn’t discount or offer to repair a “known” issue. They fixed the problem and never offered anything. Extremely disappointing from a well known manufacturer ( Toyota) to repair known issues. I’m out $1500 I was expecting to be covered or at least 50%. Service desk advised the manager never provides a discount.
Service completed in the projected timeframe, Courtesy call to advise re the problem. Uber shuttle to and from my home was prompt. Repair seems to be efffective.
Jacksons is always professional and personable! I drive a distance to go to this dealership for a reason and the staff treat me well every single time!
I find it insulting once more Charging to reset my tire sensors when changed over. I have never been charged for this service. Poor customer relations.
