Questionable service department integrity
I traded in 2018 CR-V Touring on July 5 2024 with just over 59,000 km on it. Prior to trading in the vehicle I paid for an oil change. Part of the service included a thorough vehicle inspection and a subsequent inspection report. The report noted a few items that 'needed attention' but were not critical, such as a dirty cabin air filter, etc. As noted, the vehicle was traded in that same day. After a miserable and non productive back and forth discussion with the new vehicle sales manager regarding the purchase of our new vehicle (see my previous review), I was provided with copies of the inspection work order / invoice that was done on the traded in vehicle by the service department prior to it being placed in Sherwood Honda's used vehicle inventory. Surprisingly, another oil change had been done and charged for (after the one I had just had done and paid for). Also, 3 oil leaks were supposedly found and repaired, and charged for. No oil leaks were mentioned on the inspection report I was provides with after the service I had paid for, and there was never any indication of any oil leaks during the time I had owned the vehicle. Keep in mind the vehicle only had 59,000 km on it, so there should be no reason for any oil leaks given its minimal usage. Does this not cast suspicion on the integrity of Sherwood Honda's service department and the dealership in general? Be very aware in any dealings with Sherwood Honda.

High pressure confusing sales tactics
This was our fourth new vehicle purchase from Sherwood Honda. The first three purchase experiences were good, the team there were professional and displayed genuine customer concern and integrity. The last experience ( July 5 2024) was a sad departure from the first three. The sales staff kept presenting convoluted numbers that were totally confusing and when we finally verbally agreed upon a deal, the final official written document was different than what was verbally agreed upon. We can't prove anything of course as everything prior to the final document was verbal. We did complete our purchase but we now have a significantly different opinion regarding this dealership.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish
I recently purchased a Honda HRV from Sherwood Honda. From my initial contact with Merv and then Riley in Sales and Indy in Finance, it was a very positive experience. They were professional, knowledgeable and very patient. A Senior purchasing a new vehicle can be very intimidating but Riley was so accommodating.

Terrible business service!
After waiting several weeks while a vehicle was being serviced and weekly phone calls confirming that I did want a certain vehicle and leaving a deposit at the last moment another salesman sold it !! 5 days later I noticed that it was relisted guess that sale fell through and in the meantime I purchased from somewhere else!! Jim Lee did call back 3 days later to apologize but too late. I will NOT return!!!

It was great dealing with the Finance Director, had my policy renewed, although it took a week but it was all good
