Terrible experience

Avoid Hyundai on Hunt Club at all cost. We bought a used car from them that had supposedly been inspected and in really good shape. We haven't even put 1,000 km on the car and we have already had 3 different problems (costing over $3,100). Hyundai on Hunt Club have offered us no help at all and have been very dismissive with us. Find another dealership.

No client service exists there!

Have been getting a complete runaround from parts and from service ! They told me they ordered part then they didn’t- they told me they would call me back then they didn’t! What should be an easy fix is turning out to be a nightmare and is now being stretches into a three to four weeks runaround!

Terrible customer servive - service dept

Simple replacement of door handle involved 15 phone calls, 2 wasted trips to dealership at its request, for no reason, and ultimately appointment only 2.5 weeks after initial request. Unprofessional. Terrible customer service!

Terrible run around buying a used car

I looked at a used "as is" 2013 Kia Rio. To expedite the sale I got the service department to do a safety check to see what needed fixing for a safety. I thought it would be easier and faster than trying to get it to my mechanic. I out down a deposit and made sure it was refundable. At first the safety was going to be on Tuesday as it was late Friday afternoon but then all of a sudden it was being done right away. The sales guy had me waiting around to sign some papers. When I finally got in to see the sales manager it was a sales contract. I balked because I was paying for a safety to see if I wanted to buy the car and had not said I was purchasing it. If there was a lot of work I would be out of pocket the $135 but at least I would have a better picture of the state of the car and so would the dealership for the next person who came to look at it. they promised to call me as soon as it was done. I had to call them. No one knew what I was talking about. The never xalled. I had to chase the service department down. Finally they came back with a few fixes, a leak in an exhaust pipe but perhaps it would need a new catalytic converter and bulbs needed replacing. Should be about $600 with tax unless the catalytic converter needed replacing. Granted I dawdled in making the decision to go ahead and buy the car. I called the service department back to go over the necessary repairs again. Never once was a brake "tuneup" discussed as necessary to pass a safety. I decided to have them do the service again thinking it would be faster and less hassle than taking it to my mechanic since it was only a small $450 repair. Or so the service department told me. I called service multiple times, spoke to someone who knew nothing with promises to get right back to me. They never called back. I had to chase these people down. Then after my third call this morning to the service department I was told that the work was done and it was over $1,000.00. news to me that it needed brake tuneup because the brakes were seized. If I had known there were multiple repairs I would have taken the car to my own mechanic. His hourly rate is a lot cheaper. He would never have given me the run around I experienced. I assumed that the car was ready for pickup as the sales guy told me yesterday morning when I paid for the car that he would take care of getting it plated that day. The service department didn't know if it had a license plate or not. They checked for me and for the first time I actually got a call back in a timely manner from someone who said that he had just gotten the file and would try to get a temporary plate asap. He didn't know that I had gotten it safetied at the dealership. He was off the day before. The sales guy was off today. I had asked a friend to drive me to the dealership to get my car and it was still not ready. It isn't easy to arrange a ride to the dealership out on Hunt Club in Covid but I couldn't drive there and take 2 cars home. I know it was a cheap "as is" car that you don't usually keep and you probably didn't make much money off the sale but the service was disappointing to say the least and my trust in this used car is down the pipe. I don't trust your place of business at all. I got the run around as far as I am concerned. I have bought two Kia Souls, one a few years old and one brand new from the dealership in Kanata and they treated me like gold. I had all my servicing of both vehicles done there but I will never buy a car from your dealership or take any car there for service.

Charged 1hr diagnostic fee for car under warranty.

Brought my wife's car in for some work including an issue with her bluetooth not working right preventing the Siri function from working. They look at the issue and say they could not find anything and charge her $135. So basically for 135$ they scanned the codes and paired a phone. The issue is intermittent. I called and left messaged for 4 days and no one called me back. I had to call the Sales department and ask to be sent to a Service Manager. Spoke to Ryan and all he kept saying is well we need to pay our techs. I would never ever recommend anyone go to this dealership. What sucks is we have free oil changes with them so I will have to take the car there for that but everything else I will find another dealership and I will never by another Hyundai product(I have bought 3 cars).
