Good service

Happy with this location and the service the whole company provided. The fact that I have to write 20 words for this review is very frustrating

Not what I needed

I had reserved a cargo van to move a few items from Toronto to Windsor. When I got there, all they had available was a 16 foot cube van stating that the van had a flat tire. I had rented a 16 foot 2 weeks prior and it cost me just under $200 in gas for the return trip plus the mileage. Because the truck was a lot more than I needed and couldn't properly secure what I had to move, some of the items got damaged. The truck again cost just under $200 in gas which was a lot higher than what the van would have cost. At least we negotiated unlimited mileage which took the sting out of the cost of the gas. The cab was also pretty dirty considering it was a relatively new truck.

Was unhappy with the vehicle

The vehicle was very bumpy and had very limited rearview vision. Also, I had requested a small vehicle but was given a large vehicle that was a real gas guzzler.

Sales rep lied to me

The sales rep assured me that my insurance was covered by my Visa when I asked them on the phone. Then when I got to the rental location the person behind the counter informed me that not only was I not covered because the vehicles was deemed "commercial" but that the sales rep has marked down that I understood that I had to get in store insurance that I knew it was a commercial vehicle. Both were a lie. I lodged a formal complaint and haven't heard back over a week later. I could have saved $40 but instead I was lied to. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Frustrating experience

Rented a cargo van to move a small amount of furniture. Picked up the van at 8:00 am on a Saturday and returned it at 2:00 pm the same day. Problems – the inside of the van smelled like a barn (seriously). Worse, I received a call the next day saying that I hadn't returned the vehicle. This was based on the caller's inability to find the keys. Um, maybe check my account to see that it had been closed and maybe talk to the person who closed out the account before calling someone with pretty disconcerting news would be a good place to start. Anyway, and to no surprise, the keys and vehicle were found on site within a few hours (!). But did they call to let me know? Nope. I didn't find out until I called them. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service was mind boggling and massively aggravating. Use at your own risk.
