Terrible service, they threatened me with car theft all becaus I needed the car another week and they were closed.

The worst rental company I've ever dealt with, my partner smashed my car then left me for someone else leaving me with no car and still owing on the loan, my insurance company only paid for the rental for a week then the other 3 weeks I was paying out of pocket to rent a car while I was looking for a new vehicle. It took longer than I thought because I still owed on the existing loan. Not only was the car filthy inside but the staff at discount on Highbury is un organized and rude. I thought I had rented the car again for a week and it was due back Monday, it was actually due back Friday but that's my mistake. While I was at work the lady called me to tell me it was late and I told her I would be there after my shift. I ended up having to stay late because a co workers mother had passed and I covered her shift. I didn't get out if work till after the rental office was closed. I thought no big deal I'll go tomorrow. Then the next day I get a call telling me they were calling the authority's and claiming the vehicle as stolen. I originally intended to rent the car for the rest of the week since I had found a car I was going to purchase and just had to sign the paperwork and all the things that needed to be done before picking up the new car. The lady from discount informed me I was to return their car since I could not be contacted. However, each time she called I answered and there were no voicemails so other than the times I answered they didn't even attempted to call, tell me how I can't be contacted. It's hard enough dealing with having to purchase a new vehicle and the added headache this company brings with the threats of police and refusing to rent for absolutely no reason, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Unauthorized charge

Your sr branch manager charged 1100$ to my credit card without authorization. Had to go through TD to get my money back. Poor customer service, will not come back or give any more business thanks to that

Misleading

I picked up the vehicle with 510 KM (photo taken) left on the tank, which was deemed to be full based on the throttle (which we know can stay on full for several kms). When I filled up prior to return it registered almost 730 KM, which indicated that I was not given the vehicle with a full tank. In fact, I was paying for about 40% more fuel than I actually used. I raised my concern with the attendant, asking for an appropriate credit amount for the fuel surplus, and she said there is nothing that can be done. I am now reluctant to rent again from Discount as this is not an honest practice. Disappointing to say the least.

Service was perfect, reliable price, fast approval, free upgrade to a better vehicle. Really satisfied

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your business. That was a great experience to get a car on the same day. I deal with Franchesco, he was very nice and helpful from the beginning of my search till the delivery of my car, and overall a very nice experience.

Discount is awful, dont rent with them

Poor customer service. Did not honor unlimited KM.Do not rent with discount, they are awful. Did not honor unlimited KM on cube van.
