I was referred to Dennis Holmes by my nephew & I am so pleased with the service I received. I called Dennis before I went to the dealership & when I got there, he had 3 cars ready for me to test drive. I was so impressed with the 1st car he showed me that I didn't even look at the other 2. From picking out the car through the financial dealings I was given the options that were available to me but at no time was I given a "Hard Sell" tactic to pressure me into anything. Also, although my car knowledge basically equates to "add gas to make it go", I was never "talked down to". I loved that they made me feel so comfortable. I have been & will continue to strongly recommend Murray Chev & Dennis Holmes to everyone I speak with. Dennis managed to remove the stress that comes with having to choose a new vehicle & actually make it an enjoyable event for me. The service I received was far over & above anything I expected or have ever received before.
You already got my money. Thats the important part.
I bought the car and the day I picked it up there was a low tire alarm. I was told this was addressed by changing a sensor. After a couple of week of operation the alarm came back. I was told by your service department that you do not fix tires on the weekends. I purchased the road hazard warranty as part of my purchase and was disappointed to find that I would have to make special arrangements to have the tire looked at. I subsequently went to a shop that is open on Saturdays and was told by the tech that worked on the tire that there was a temporary plug installed in that tire. I had the tire repaired at my expense.
Shortly after I purchased the vehicle I noticed that one of the covers on the roof rack was missing. I called your parts department and was told they would order me one and it would be in in a couple of days. Cost would be $23.00. A few days later I stopped to see if the cover was in and was told that it was never ordered. I was also told then that you do not order parts unless they are paid for in advance. This is not a problem really just an annoyance. What is at issue is I was not told of this policy when I ordered the part. I guess for 23 bucks I wasn't worth the effort.
No good reviews for you and Murray Chev I'm afraid.
Birchwood seems much more accommodating.
Outstanding service on the purchase of a new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. Hassle free vehicle purchase. Great salesman, will go out of his way to make sure customer is satisfied
