Service visit was fine, everything else has changed my opinion of Murrays and Chev in General!
I have always enjoyed my service experience at Murrays, oil changes and regular maintenance. However the deceptive sales tactics, the unwillingness to take responsibility or accountability for a known problem with my vehicle, has changed my opinion of Murrays and GM in general.
I am completely unsatisfied with the lack of resolution to my issue. My truck has not run properly since the day I test drove it, I was told it was an "adaptive" transmission, and it would change, well it didn't and I would not have purchased the truck had I known the way it operated would stay the way I identified, during my test drive. Deceptive Sales Tactics!!! I was offered a replacement deal, which would see me put out a lot more money for a lower model truck, because they had one on the lot they wanted to get rid of, not because it was a good deal for me, they had rebates on the truck offered by GM, it was advertised in the paper, and again the pressure, and the suggestion, this deal was time limited. Over all, not one Senior Manager ever contacted me, to attempt to resolve, I had a GM rep, that called weekly and eventually sent an offer of 2K off my next purchase, but for two months, I told her the same thing, to the same questions every week. Well I assure you, there will be no next purchase, not from me, nor my company, which is a shame. I have raved Murray's for years, and besides personal vehicles have purchased many a company vehicle from Murrays, until now. For the sake of a few dollars they clearly showed the importance of one customers opinion. All I wanted was to have the vehicle, I was told I purchased, I would have even taken a different vehicle, but to come out of pocket further, and be told "Well your truck has 14K on it now", I identified the issue on the test drive, I was told it would change, I brought it back on 4 separate occasions, and multiple times I came in just to discuss the problems. Very Very Disappointed!!!!! At first it was a GM issue, the truck has a problem and GM should have made it right, then when the dealership left me out in the cold, and tried to spin a new sales game on me, to get me to spend more money, while trying to make me feel like they were giving me a good deal, please.
I work with trades people every day. Its a shame I don't have a better experience to share.
If this survey was about Ryan in the service dept, he has always met me with a smile, and said what he could say, I feel bad for him, but I appreciate what he has to do every that. If this survey was about my overall experience, I noted there was no " NO STAR " option, otherwise I would have selected that.
You really should redo the questions, they are way to vague, but I guess that makes it easier to sway the survey to favorable outcome?
