Buying a truck or car shouldn't be a stressful situation, in which this one was. I have also been waiting for a price with trade on a new car and can't get the sales team to get back to me. I guess smp doesn't need the business.
MY WIFE WENT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE (DROPPED IT OFF FIRST THING IN THE MORNING). SHE TOLD THEM THAT SHE WAS DONE WORK AT 1:30. SHE CALLED AT 2 ASKING IF THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONE AND THEY SAID NO. SHE ASKED THEM TO SEND A DRIVER OVER TO PICK HER UP AND SHE WOULD WAIT AT THE DEALERSHIP. JUST AFTER THE DRIVER PICKED HER UP SHE RECEIVED THE CALL THAT THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONE. THIS TELLS ME THAT THEY STARTED THE OIL CHANGE BECAUSE SHE WAS ON HER WAY OVER. WHEN AN OIL CHANGE IS BOOKED A WEEK IN ADVANCE A PERSON SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT ESPECIALLY WHEN AN OIL CHANGE ONLY TAKES 20 MINUTES.
When booking a vehicle in with a specific time of 0930 and they don't look at it till around 1400 is a joke!! Same goes for oil changes that I would be there when your doors open and wouldn't get it back till 1600!!! (The reason this gets done at Wheaton now!!) An appointment is an appointment not when its convenient for service to do whenever!!
I have always dealt with Doug for many years, and appreciate knowing who I'm talking to when I call in to book an appointment, a
I usually just book an appointment when an oil change is required, but Doug will always suggest if there is something else that it is "time to look at". I appreciate knowing that I am given the attention to keep my car running in as good of condition as possible.
