I sent the Service Manager an email indicating my displeasure on how the Service Advisors operate. The bill was much too high for a vehicle that is very well looked after and is only 2 years old.
The work / recall was completed satisfactory and as planned. The technician did an inspection that picked up on a few unrelated items that needed attention. Well done.
Trying to fix command start has been an awful experience.
We had command start installed in our vehicle when we purchased it. After a couple years of use the fobs worked very intermittently. While the command start was still under warranty we told this to the service department multiple times when taking our vehicle in for regular service. Each time we were told it was fine, despite us insisting that it often does not work.
Now that they are no longer under warranty, the service department has finally acknowledged that they don't work, however, now we are expected to pay to fix it. Very frustrating.
We have brought our vehicle in for THREE separate appointments since then to have this problem fixed. For the first two appointments they tried some fixes but couldn't solve the problem. On our third appointment they installed a new antenna, but it still did not work. Despite this, we were told that we would have to pay $200, even though the problem still exists. Furthermore, it would be an additional $200 to order new fobs, those would not arrive for a while, and we would need to return for a fourth appointment.
Including the number of times we had this problem looked at before the warranty expired, we have had our command start issued looked at a minimum of five times, and it is still not fixed, and the price to fix it keeps increasing with each visit. The fact that it cannot be solved in this many appointments inspires no hope in me that it will be solved on the sixth visit. It suggests either a lack of care or a lack of competence in the service department..
Each time we bring our vehicle in we need to make complicated arrangements with family members to borrow vehicles, pick up our children, etc.
Despite having bought two vehicles from this location, and having all of our servicing done here, no effort has been made by the dealership to make up for this horrendous experience. We do not feel that our time has been respected, and we feel absolutely unappreciated as customers.
We are a young family, we love our vehicles, and were it not for this experience we would have been loyal lifelong customers. However, it is unlikely that we will do any future business at this location.
Had a number of recalls to complete on the vehicle. Professional service and the pickup driver was pleasant and on time. Would recommend this dealership in the future.
