loaner Car needed and faster service appointments are a must.

My vehicle had a check engine light on, is new and wasn’t driving well/safely. I called immediately for a service appointment, was told the soonest appointment was 2 weeks away but my vehicle would still be ok to drive. I drove for 3 more days, the vehicle was unsafe and wouldn’t accelerate. I showed up Monday morning first thing needing help. I was informed they could see my car right away. I couldn’t get a loaner car, a rental wasn’t provided. My lovely sales guy at a different dealership heard of my troubles and personally gave me one of his demos to use as Hyundai couldn’t help me. My only positive comment is that the staff st the dealership were very pleasant to work with.

Traded my car because it is to hard to get my car serviced at your dealership

I think most people do not have hours and hours to wait for service at a dealership. I have talked to 3 other people in Carman that have also traded their Hyundai vehicles because of how difficult it is to make the time and have to spend hours waiting for service.

I was called by your service dept to pickup my car for reason that it was ready, but when I arrived I had to wait nearly 45 minutes before my paperwork was done and I could obtain my car and leave.

I was told that the service advisor would call me with an explanation for why I was told to pickup my car when obviously it was not ready to be picked up, but he has failed to call me. This has added insult to injury. More generally, my experience with the Murray Hyundai dealership in Winnipeg for service issues over the years has been poor to the point that I do not want to take my car there for anything but warranty and recall notice work.

The main reason we went in for our apt was to have the door looked at. This is what the apt was for. When we got there we were told there was no one capable of looking at the door

Very poor service. No one was there to look at the problem with the vehicle. We were told to make another apt. Or take it to another shop down the street. Don't know why because this is a warranty job.

SUV has only 29,000 km's and every issue I brought up was not covered under warranty or so I was told.

I booked an appointment to get my oil changed and have someone test drive my SUV for the noise and whistling it does. Told too late, everyone gone for lunch. However at least the oil change was done. Why did this appointment not allow time for this test drive? The appointment was not even booked accordingly why was it booked over the lunch hour when it was known a test drive was in order. (Was told someone could look at my car sometime in the afternoon. She did not care that I would have to wait however long for them to check my SUV. Sounded like I would be waiting a long time and she didn't even care or offer a better solution. No compassion or nothing). This is the second time I come in from out of town to have this problem checked. Now on Friday January 5th it will be my third time I come in for the same problem they should be testing my car. Who knows what I'll be told this time. What good is the warranty we bought for the paint or for anything else as everything I mentioned was told "not covered". - Driver side door top back corner very noisy. You can see the door does not align properly. Told not covered and its not their fault it is not aligned. - Key holder comes undone all the time, almost lost my keys a few times. Told it was my problem. She gave it a tug and said: "see it's holding, you must be pushing the button that makes the keys come off". So at that time it did not come undone but it came out on its own again for me later. She said you can use a tape to hold it together. I think the spring has come undone and it should be looked at. - Paint was peeling off the car on two occasions while washing the vehicle. Told not covered. Wanted an estimate, she told me I'd have to visit the shop not far away for that. What was wrong with your shop? What kind of customer service did I really get?Therefore, my husband and I are very disappointed. Never had any trouble when I owned a car from Jim Gauthier or any other dealership for that matter. Got treated with respect and they dealt with any issues I had. I am hoping I'll get better service this time. I might trade off my SUV and deal with Jim Gauthier instead. This is all very stressful for us. Elaine and Trevor Steffes.
