Regular Maintenance - Trust

I have had nothing but a great experience with JTC up until this week. I had called in to have my winter tires and an oil change done on my jeep. The associate on the phone asked me how many kilometers were on my jeep and suggested that at the level I was at that I would need an induction. As my 2019 Jeep is my baby and I want to treat it well I agreed and scheduled the maintenance. When I went to pay for the service I was completely overwhelmed by the $784.00 bill I received. There are two issues here 1. I trusted my dealer to have transparent conversations with me about the cost of the service - Yes I agree and you will argue that I should have asked.......but no where in my though process did I think I'd have to ask if servicing my vehicle was going to cost me more than the monthly payment. I also asked for a military discount as well as other pricing questions where I was told that due to package pricing this was not available (this would have been an opportune time to talk to me about how much this was going to cost because they clearly knew I was asking questions). I really feel that this service was sneaky and underhanded rather than clear, fair and transparent. I've learned my lesson. Always make sure that you have every penny accounted for prior to having the work done, don't trust this dealer be honest with you. A simple lack of conversation has damaged a really good relationship. I will likely not return for future service or purchase another vehicle from a company I can't trust.

Terrible business to deal with

I have purchased 4 trucks from this location 2013 ram, 2014 ram, 2017 ram sport (i still have) and my 2018 ram 2500 Longhorn diesel which i also still have. I brought my 2018 for tire rotation and oil change they overinflated my tires by 20lbs and as a result cupped and warped my relatively new tires (was at 3/4 tread) now my tires shake so bad i can barely drive my truck. I brought this to the owneer and shop foreman (who completed the work) and nothing was done about it. They blamed ME for not telling them that the tires were aftermarket and could only be filled to 65lbs but they are proper for the truck as they are load range E and before i put them on was advised by this location that load range E was the ONLY thing i had to look for in tires besides the size. Now im out 2000$ replacing my tires as they wont take any responsibility for this. Apparently they read the door for proper PSI NOT the actual tire side wall. I was nice about this at first but have been snubbed by ownership and service management and the shop foreman. My tires could have exploded on the highway and killed myself or my family or someone else as well. NO REGARD FOR OTHERS the shop foreman laughed at me when i said this and said dont worry they are tough tires..... i wouldnt buy another thing here ever and no one else should and perhaps they will learn a harsh lesson on customer service.

SERVICE, SECOND TO NONE

If you are not already a customer of Jim Thompson Chrysler you should be. I had an issue with my car which is a 2007 Dodge Caliber, I brought it to JIm Thompson Chrysler hoping they could help me out and certainly not expecting what I got. There was an issue with the front cradle they not only replaced the front cradle they fixed the rear cradle, did a four wheel alignment and put in new control arms at a fraction of the cost, they went above and beyond. It is fair to say that Jim Thompson Chrysler stand behind their vehicles new and old so if you are looking for new or used vehicle please go to Jim Thompson Chrysler, I know I will. Thanks again it’s a great feeling when you feel safe driving your car. A special Thank you to Sylvia Conley Service Manager and her team you are the definition of excellent customer service!!!! Theresa Donovan

Outstanding Service

I've been in Service/Sales for almost all of my working life. I thunk it's safe to say that I have seen my fair share of service...good and bad! Today Katrina Smith and the rest of the Service Dept at Jim Thompson Chrysler Dodge Jeep blew me away with their outstanding Service!!!!! I just paid a $1900 repair bill, and left feeling SUPER happy with the service that I received from start to finish. Special thanks to Matt (mechanic) for looking out for me as well. JTCD...your Service Dept just gained you a customer!!! Rating...5 out of 5!!!

Service Department

We had an issue with our AC in our Nissan Rogue and took it to the Jim Thompson for a service appointment. We dealt with Catarina and she was professional and always kept us to informed. The service team was friendly and professional and we will definitely come back for service. Thank you to the Service Team for your professionalism and making us feel comfortable and going over the issues that needed to be fixed - FIVE STARS !!!!!
