Pleasant but also frustrating.

The service (recall) on my vehicle was excellent as usual. My vehicle was brought in the night before the recall and service were to be done and I received my courtesy car without any problems. I opted to pay for the extra insurance of $12 per day as I was to get my vehicle back on the Friday and the $60 was doable. On Friday I was given two reasons my vehicle wasn't ready. One was a voice mail stating the recall would not be completed until Monday. I called my service person and left a message. He called back and stated that he had not received my vehicle until late Friday to check the other issues to be assessed. I was not happy with two excuses I was given. Was the vehicle in for the service or still in at the body shop for the recall work?? This delay cost me an additional $45.00 in insurance. Money I had not budgeted for. I asked the service lady if the cost could be picked up by Murray's as they created the need to have the courtesy vehicle over a weekend as no work was being done until the Monday. She stated she would out a note in file and see what could be done. I finally got a call Monday around 4:15-4:30 pm that my vehicle was ready for pick up. When I arrived I asked Peter if Murray's was going to cover the extra three days I had to pay for on the insurance of the vehicle ($45.00) and he said there was nothing they could do but gave me a $12 free car wash. I didn't want the free wash I wanted the 45$ covered!! This is the only time in 12 years I can say I was not completely satisfied with the service I received. I would still like to be reimbursed for the $45 but doubt that will happen.

Pat thank you for your feedback. As we discussed that was an error on the car rental agencies part and you should not have had to pay insurance on the recall . sales & service departments are helpful,, professional,,

This was our second purchase from Jamie Erb. He is always friendly and sincere, & works hard to get us what we ask for. He also tells us promptly if we are asking for too much. Peter B. in service has been great last couple years we have dealt with him, he's accommodating with timing, explains whats going on with our vehicle, and keeps us in the loop. We enjoy working both of these members of your team.

Best service among all the dealerships

I have dealt with many different dealerships. I've been dealing with Murray Chevrolet since 2006. Murray always shows how to serve clients better. They show they are concerned about finding the best solution for each problem, not the most expensive. Great service. Strongly recommended.
