Mediocre at best

It seemed to take a long time to get the truck. The person at the desk kept answering the phone and was not focused on service and getting me on the way. There were two other sales people in the office at the time and no other customers The tail gate door stuck and took me ten minutes to figure out how to unstick it. That happened twice during the day. The person at the desk when I came back and reported the issue was unconcerned and sort of shrugged when I told him. Not the end of the world but the experience was a little unprofessional.

Rental Period Adjusted With No Notice

My rental period was adjusted & credit card charged with an additional fee without any notification. Couldn't be more dissatisfied.

INTERESTING EXPERIENCE

CALLED AND ASKED TO HAVE DISCOUNT PICK ME UP AT AROUND 2PM (RESERVATION WAS FOR 5PM) LETTING THEM KNOW THAT I WAS HOME AND COULD BE PICKED UP ANY TIME. WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WOULD CALL BEFORE PICKING ME UP. CALLED BACK AT 4:45 TO FIND OUT WHEN I WOULD BE PICKED UP AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF ME REQUIRING A PICK UP. WAS TOLD THAT THE SAME THING AGAIN IN REGARDS TO HAVING SOMEONE CALL ME BEFORE PICK UP. CALLED AN UBER AT AROUND 5PM SINCE I HAD PLANS TO BE SOMEWHERE AT 5:30. RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A DRIVER IN MY DRIVEWAY AT AROUND 5:15 LETTING ME KNOW THAT HE WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY. WAS ALREADY IN THE UBER ON MY WAY TO THE DISCOUNT LOCATION. PICK UP WAS GREAT. RETURNED THE VEHICLE A DAY EARLY AND WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THE EXTRA DAY. CALLED TO FIND OUT WAY AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS THERE POLICY. WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD BE EMAILING ME A RECEIPT FROM BY BOOKING AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT.

Vehicle unsafe and not as described

I booked a cargo van and when I arrived I was told there are no longer cargo vans at this location only box trucks. So I had to take the larger vehicle which used more gas and couldn’t drive it into everywhere I was going due to the extra height. I should have been informed this upon booking so that I could have taken my business elsewhere. Also the lights didn’t work on the truck at night. I had headlights and brake lights but no running lights no tail lights, and because of this I was almost rear ended as I had no idea it wasn’t working until another motorist got very angry at me while stopped at a traffic light. I tried everything to get the lights to come on before going any further but could not get them working either it is a blown fuse or loose wiring. Very disappointed with the overall experience as that was very dangerous and is something that should be checked daily by your employees

Very bad customer service

They give me a car and asked me not to use the cruise control and asked me to sign o. It I explained I ‘m traveling to Montreal and I need deferent car they said this is the only option Very disappointed with discount
