Discount Car and Truck Rentals...

I arrived to get my vehicle a 16 foot truck and despite speaking to someone on the phone the day before they were not able to provide the size of vehicle I needed. I took a larger vehicle but for the job I had to do the larger truck was much more difficult to use. I find regularly that your company does not have enough trucks for clients. Trucks are dirty as your staff is stuck with no time to clean before a truck must go out again. Also many times after maintenance technicians fail to reset warning lights. This can be disconcerting for drivers when using vehicles. Your company needs to support your field workers better as they regularly are left scrambling due to not enough vehicle inventory

The woman at the desk... she did not know how to talk to a customer. You cannot just throw my credit card towards me when you are done. A little courtesy and politeness would work.

Why do I need to pay for a whole day rental if they want the car before they close. I feel that if I rent a vehicle for i day I should be able to use it for 24 hours.

Third time renting a cargo van from Steeles and Hilda location dealt with Matt who was nice. The problem with Discount is the company is cheap and they pay their employees minimum wage and it shows in their work. There was one girl sucking back a coke and another dude (which is the problem here) saying he has to put gas in the van takes off for 25 minutes. I needed to be at an address in 25 minutes and it is only a 5 minute drive but because it take them 25 minutes to put gas in the van I missed my time and was stuck with a van for the whole day with nothing to do. I can put my own gas in the van I don't need some jerk who wanted to argue to mess up my entire move. He also missed a broken signal indicator when inspecting the van. Cheap yes customer service nope but you get what you pay for

The branches are always crowded. There is always a shortage of cars and staff. Waiting time is long, and customer service is very poor. Renting from discount company usually is a frustration. I won't rent again!
