No appreciation

I have brought some business to your location and have received no discounts or upgrades. Your location could not even provide an upgrade like most of your competitors would have.

Not satisfied with the service

I wasn't happy with the service whom I had talked to 2 days ago for a deal while I was in the Discounted store in Richmond Hill. They were my witness how she was and the way she talked with very poor knowledge and slow, even the Discount store personnel noticed that. I wanted to get a cheaper reasonable deal but she told me for 2 times can I talk to the service rep. She asked him how much do you charge today for 1 day, he said to her our price is $149.00 , then she told me we will also charge you the same rate, then she said to the rep. $120. However, I really got disappointed, then the reps. apologized for inconvenience service and for the communication of this lady who I had her name exactly opposite the previous lady, Ms. Teza . Anyway, I left the store and went to the other store, Budget rental car and got a very good deal for $60 and I can send you a copy of my bill. and have added one more day, so became 2 days, total of $120 . Not impressed

I had requested a 7-seater for Saturday. I called on Wednesday before to ask if I could have a mini-van and they said you will need to call on the Friday as their fleet changes daily and so they can’t guarantee. I said no problem and called on a Friday. I was told that they will put the van aside and accommodate my request which I was very happy about. Get there soon as they opened on Saturday morning and finalize all paperwork to notice that the tire on the mini van is partially torn. And keep in mind I was going to drive this car on the highway. One of the guys was very apologetic which I appreciated and he saw what a major safety concern this was. The other guy fully disregarded it and said head office inspects all vehicles and it is deemed as safe. I’m not sure how a torn tire is deemed as safe with the rubber dangling from it. This could have cost discount a major lawsuit had that car been rented out and someone gotten into a major accident with it. With the condition of the tire that car could have flipped over if the tire blew on the highway. So once we rejected the van, they then gave us a hyundai 7seater. Looked fine from the outside. Get into it and drive and there was a constant noise from the left side of the car. And the mirror on the right side was not functional at all. So it was a disaster and changing lanes was a complete headache as you couldn’t see the lanes beside you at all. Point of this being that discount is terrible at inspecting their vehicles. Regardless of whether it comes from head office or just the location that rents you the car and I won’t be back because I don’t trust the vehicles they rent out.
