Everything was great except one thing !

I didn’t get the security deposit after I returned the car, because they informed me in the branch that it will be back to my credit card automatically. But it doesn’t!!

The customer service wasn't the best, and there were too many issues.

Poor, terrible customer service, unreasonable, not professional. I've been to serveral rental services but that was bad. uhaul is better

Bigger truck, broken mirrors

Was called early morning before my pickup telling me the Van I ordered isn’t available. “Upgrade” given to a cube truck though that’s just bigger and less fuel efficient. Provided a bit of a discount to offset the added fuel usage. At pickup I was promised if I returned a bit late, or went over kms it would also be comp’d. Great service. Next day, different person was there. Mirror on the truck wouldn’t stay still, shifted constantly making it impossible to see (and dangerous). Called their location to ask if they kept the keys necessary to tighten the mirrors in the truck somewhere and the only solution he gave was: drive back, and I can tie a rope around it. When I finally got back (driving while holding a mirror with one hand in order to at least be able to see on one side), no mention or consideration given to the fact that I was effectively in an un-driveable vehicle, no notes taken to ensure this was fixed before the next person got in this car, and in fact I was lectured that I shouldn’t have accepted a vehicle with such a fault. I guess it truly matters on the representative.

good and bad

The Manager did a good job on the day when we brought the vehicle back. But the day we picked it up, someone else gave us the car and insisted that we needed the collision insurance, saying that our credit card insurance wouldn't cover a rental of more than one week (and we needed to show proof of insurance as well, which we didn't have since we are from Saskatchewan). At the end, with the Manager, we found out that the guy who gave us the car was incorrect, so we paid about $200 for insurance when we didn't need to. We have yet to receive a refund.

Excellent

Staff was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions regarding my rental. They followed up with a courtesy call during my rental, to check on how it was going and to make sure that I wasn't having any issues.
