Buyer beware
There were a number of things during the sale that made me wary. However, I let me need to replace my old vehicle quickly, and my instant like for the car I saw, over-ride my rational brain.
I am not happy with the fact that the previous owner apparently did not keep up the maintenance. According to the service manager with whom I spoke this weekend, so long as the car will pass safety and emissions, the dealership has met it's technical requirements. I should realize that the salesperson is going to maximize profits, and the dealership is only going to do the bare necessities when it comes to the used car sale. Thus, I will be stuck with costs I really can't afford (transmission flush etc)
The fact that only one key was made available struck me as cheap as well.
Again, I should have known better. Hopefully, when I replace my other car (in the next year or so), I'll remember this lesson ...

Used car purchase
I had a wonderful experience dealing with Franklin for the recent purchase of my used car, but my overall impression of Hyundai on Hunt Club was negatively affected by two events:
First, I had begun dealing with the dealership online and my appointment was arranged through online sales. For some reason, I was booked for a preferred client appointment. When the sales manager came out to greet me, I nearly left: he asked me if anyone else would be joining me for the appointment, like "your husband or father". That is completely unacceptable as a question in this day and age. In no way should the sales manager assume that a woman needs assistance to purchase a car, and secondly to assume that only a male would be a suitable purchase companion was even more insulting. I nearly walked out but decided to give Franklin a chance when he came over. I'm glad I did because my experience with him was much more pleasant.
The second negative part of my purchase experience was the state of the car when I received it. I was only able to visit the car at night, thanks to my work schedule. I never truly saw the state in which the car interior was until the morning after I came home with it. I had pointed out a stain on the back seat and Franklin had assured me they would try to get it out before I picked it up, but it was still there when I came to claim the car. I thought perhaps it was a tough, embedded stain and let it go. However, the next morning, I was incredibly disappointed with what daylight revealed: While the car had been well vaccumed and the exterior well cleaned, the upholstery was stained and soiled with what appeared to be food from the previous owner, and there was the previous owner's garbage in the various holders (on doors, center console). No effort had been made whatsoever to clean the car. In the end, I had to take the car to get detailed at my own expense - an out of pocket cost I had not anticipated for the purchase.
I did speak with Franklin about these two events. They have definitely tainted my view of your dealership and I will think again before returning for my next car purchase.

First service visit -- not impressed!
Had an appt to have the winter tires changed as we were heading to Fla. When we got there, we were told that the tires had not been brought from storage. I had to bring it back the next day. Then I was told that it would take 45 minutes (change tires, do oil change). I waited 1-1/2 hours and was told at the end of that time that it took so long because they were doing a service recall sort of thing and they couldn't figure out how to do it, since mine was the first car they'd done.

Awful
My purchasing experience with Eric was wonderful, he was great and very helpful with the process as I'm a first time car buyer. But the service department definitely needs some work in the customer service area. I made an appointment to have the tint on my windows redone (the car is only a month old and yes the tint needs to be redone) anyways the appointment was made a week in advance for 12 noon. They had told me that the job would take about 3 hours to redo the tint. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone to take me back home in the meantime so I decided to stay there and wait it out. I waited for over an hour for the service people to just take my keys, my car was parked in the same spot for over an hour before they took it. What's the point of an appointment then??? I'm livid because I had to wait 4 hours in that building to fix a problem that should definitely not have even happened in the first place. The lack of quality is very unimpressive and ectremely frustrating.
