Moving rental

The service staff were friendly. I was disappointed that I was not able to get a van and was instead required to get a 14-foot fridge truck., I had indicated that I would need a van as there was minimal parking and it was quite tight. Due to the fact that I needed to use a 14-foot truck I ended up getting a parking ticket for $50 as I was slightly over the line with the truck whereas I would have been fine with a van. Otherwise, the service was good and I had a positive experience, but the ticket definitely caused me a lot of frustration.

Very poor customer services and billing acuracy

Perfect for the check-in, the truck and the check-out (drop-off). However, they charged me the insurance twice, one time as a second payment, because they forgot to charge it in the day i picked-up the truck, and they deduct it a second time from my deposit. I call to get explanation and to get it corrected, the girl said she is busy and she did not have time to look at it now and that she will call me back during the day. She never called back. I call another day, and the employee and her superviser only keep arguing that they had not make any mistake, even though I tried to explain that it was on my card statment. They didn't seem interested to see my card statment. I insisted and she said that she will not look at it before 3 days because she is busy. In a nut shell, very poor customer services. I will have to wait another 3 days for the employee to deign to look at my request and the card ststment I sent. Unacceptable... Michel Séguin

Vehicle not available - again

This is the 2nd time I used Discount and had the same experience - vehicle size reserved was not available when I arrived to pick it up. Based on other customers calling and at the counter - this is a common problem with Discount. I had called 2 days before to confirm my reservation and was assured all was fine. When I got there, they did not have the vehicle I reserved but offered a much larger vehicle (16' cube van instead of a cargo van) for the same price. Price was not the issue - the truck size was much too large for my needs - and parking problems. I only had a small driveway and lots of neighbours park on the street. It was a very frustrating experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful but the location should definitely have more inventory and ensure that when a customer reserves a specific size vehicle, there is one or very similar available.

Bad customer service

Very disappointed with the service. The CSR was rude and I got to my appointment late because of the slow service. I was supposed to get the car at the train station. When I got there, they told me there was no car available. I had to pay a taxi to get to the hotel and the next day they came 30 minutes late to pick me up. That was a nightmare as I was presenting a conference at 8:30.

Bad Service

We reserved the vehicle several weeks before the pick up date when I arrived I was disappointed in the service I received especially from one of the customer service employees which I will not say who it was but was not professional. The vehicle was to be ready by 8:00 a.m. when I arrived there was no vehicle I was told that they had to get the vehicle from another lot, we then had to wait over an hour before the vehicle was delivered and the vehicle was not cleaned, the attendant who was with us advised if we wanted the car clean we would have to wait again. These delays impacted the start of our holiday and delayed our travel plans. I have always rented vehicles from this location and never had bad service as I had this time. Very disappointed!!!!
